First Week In... | Andras Hejj

A week into January and the people around me have split into the usual two camps. Some are still firmly in holiday mode. Others came out sprinting on day one like the whole year depends on its first week. I’m somewhere in between this time.

I actually managed to recharge over Christmas and came back with energy instead of dread, which already feels like a small win. Dry January is holding too. It sounds minor, but it works like a reset button for me. I’ve been moving more as well, and tried bodypump for the first time, which was brutal while it lasted and great once it was over.

Work picked up fast. I met a stack of clients and closed some of the first deals of the year. On the side I’m back in learning mode, brushing up my CSS (thanks joshwcomeau.com) and reading into MPC and threshold signatures for protecting crypto assets beyond smart wallets. That’s roughly where I am. Decent momentum, genuinely curious again, and clear enough on the next step to keep moving.
