CSS Is Back on the Desk
11 Jan 2023 1 min read
A week into January, the people around me have split into the usual camps. Some are still in holiday mode. Others came out sprinting as if the whole year will be graded on its first Monday. For once, I’m somewhere useful in between.
I came back from Christmas with energy instead of dread. Dry January is holding. I tried bodypump for the first time and spent the class regretting it, followed immediately by the part where I was pleased I’d gone.
Work picked up fast. I met clients and closed some of the first deals of the year. More unexpectedly, I started studying again without having to bully myself into it: CSS with Josh Comeau, then MPC and threshold signatures for protecting crypto assets beyond smart wallets. The 1kx piece on wallets has been sitting open beside the CSS tabs.
None of this is an achievement after seven days. The thing I want to remember is smaller: CSS is back on the desk instead of sitting in the guilt pile.
